Ice Palace

The safety and comfort of our guests is our top priority. We have enhanced safety protocols in place to properly sanitize our skate change area and high touch points including maintaining the ice in between sessions.

West Edmonton Mall follows the COVID-19 policies and guidelines set out by Alberta Health Services and the City of Edmonton.

With the recent provincial COVID-19 temporary restrictions, West Edmonton Mall has updated our COVID-19 information page.

Please be aware that the Restriction Exemption Program will be in effect at ALL attractions. Effective November 15 proof of double vaccination is required and all Alberta residents must present QR code vaccine record as the only valid proof of vaccination OR proof of a privately paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of visit.

Effective September 3, 2021 a face covering that fully covers the nose, mouth, and chin must be worn at all times while off the Ice in any waiting area and lineup. Exception for masks while on ice.

There’s plenty of magic under the glass dome of the Ice Palace including figure skating, senior skate, hockey, and non-ice activities such as concerts and fundraising events. The Ice Palace has recently undergone a $3,000,000 renovation.
