The safety and comfort of our guests is our top priority. All weekend skating sessions must be booked online as the capacity limit for the Ice Palace is 30. We have enhanced safety protocols in place to properly sanitize our skate change area and high touch points including maintaining the ice in between sessions.


PLEASE NOTE: As per Edmonton bylaw 19408 masks are required to enter this site


With Phase 2 rolling out throughout the province, Ice Palace will be opening to the public with enhanced safety guidelines, updated hours, and updated operational standards. Please familiarize yourself with our Attractions Check-List before joining us. We can't wait to see you soon!

1. Capacity will be limited to 30 people on the ice at any one time

2. Tickets available online at . Tickets for weekend sessions MUST be purchased in advance online

3. Rental skates are available, but it is recommended guests bring their own

4. Limited seating available in the lobby/skate change

5. Social distancing rules are in effect on and off the ice 

6. Masks are required in the lobby/skate change, Ice palace hallway and Ice palace washrooms

7. Masks are recommended but not required while on the ice



There’s plenty of magic under the glass dome of the Ice Palace including figure skating, senior skate, hockey, and non-ice activities such as concerts and fundraising events. The Ice Palace has recently undergone a $3,000,000 renovation.
