Event Rules
Prepare for the ultimate pup-arazzi moment! Review the Paws and Applause event rules below to ensure a safe, fun, and fur-tastic performance for every superstar.
- All dogs must enter and exit through entrance #32 of West Edmonton Mall by Fantasia Dogs.
- This is located in Phase 1 on the lower level, around the corner from Homesense/Winners.
- Fantasia Dogs staff will be present to help monitor the dogs. However, each owner is responsible for their own dog.
- All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations and must show proof, including the dates they are due next:
- Rabies (if over 16 weeks old)

- DHPP

- Bordetella
- All dogs must be up to date on flea/tick/lice prevention.
- Puppies are welcome as young as 12 weeks old with their second round of vaccinations (DHPP and Bordetella, Rabies given at ~16 weeks)
- All dogs must always be on leash or in a stroller, unless otherwise specified by the event staff.
- All dogs must be friendly and well-mannered on leash.
- All dogs must always be with their owner/handler unless otherwise specified by the event staff.
- Bathroom activities will only take place in the designated bathroom area.
- Poop bags and cleaning supplies will be provided.
- All dogs must remain in the designated area of the event.
- Outside dog treats are welcome, but they cannot be given to other contestants. Please keep these on your person.
- No human food will be allowed in the event area.
- Dogs are not permitted to roam the mall after the event concludes, but they are welcome to stay at Fantasia Dogs Daycare. Please check in-store or their website for pricing.
- Each winner will receive their prize before leaving the event, aside from the People’s Choice category. This winner will be able to collect their prize from Fantasia Dogs on a scheduled date, after the contest is over.
- All contestants must arrive by 11:30 a.m. on June 20, 2026, as the event begins at 12 p.m. Any contestant who arrives late will unfortunately be disqualified. Please leave time for parking and travel time to the stage.
