On the Brink of Extinction

Our everyday wants and needs have an effect on the world we live in, as well as on the animals that share our world with us. It is important for people to realize that animal populations are being greatly affected by human activity. In this program, students take a close look at animals that are listed as threatened and even endangered because of human impact on the environment. Students will see an African penguin up close in our classroom, as well as our adult green sea turtles during a unique behind-the-scenes tour... all leading to the inevitable question: “What can I do to help?”.
