Penguins: A Formal Affair

During our Penguins: A Formal Affair outreach program, A Marine Life staff will bring one of our African penguins to the classroom! Students learn about the African penguins that live at West Edmonton Mall and why these penguins are also known as donkey penguins. Also, during this intimate penguin encounter, program participants will discover the variety of penguin species found in the wild and what characteristics make penguins birds. The Marine Life educator will discuss with students why penguins are endangered and what we can do to help these wonderful birds, as well as other wild animals.

This program does not involve touching the penguin.
