Take Highway 2 (Queen Elizabeth II Highway) north, then head west on Whitemud Drive to 170 Street. Anthony Henday Drive (Highway 216) west and north is the alternate route.
West Edmonton Mall is about 12 km from downtown Edmonton, a 20 to 25 minute drive depending on traffic. Head west on Stony Plain Road NW, then follow 100 Avenue NW to 170 Street. Coming from the University of Alberta or the south side, 87 Avenue NW is the more direct approach.
