Paint Your Pet on The Ship

Celebrate your furry, feathered, or scaled best friend aboard The Ship with a one-of-a-kind pet portrait workshop!

Before the event, guests will submit a photo of their beloved pet by July 6 to ken.christensen@wem.ca, which will be transformed into a custom sketch by WEM’s Creative Director, Ken Christensen, and prepared on canvas ahead of the event.

During the workshop, guests will bring their pet portraits to life by painting in the artwork themselves, with guidance from Ken Christensen and plenty of creative freedom to choose colours, styles, and finishing touches – no painting experience needed.

All materials are included, and you’ll leave with a personalized keepsake featuring your pet, perfect for displaying at home as a lasting reminder of the experience.

6:15 to 8:00 p.m. – Paint Your Pet workshop

8:00 to 8:30 p.m. – The Ship is open for photos

Canned pop or bottled water provided with ticket. Minors permitted.

There will be a bar on board. Please have valid Government ID if you plan to purchase alcohol.

Please note: Pets will not be permitted on board The Ship. Please submit a photo of your pet in advance and leave your furry, feathered, or scaled friend at home for the event.
