West Edmonton Mall is committed to providing unique and memorable experiences for its guests. Accessibility for all is an important consideration when listing information on our website. We have prepared pertinent information to help better accommodate planning a visit.

Digital Directories
There are 13 digital directories within the mall that help provide directions to the various stores, attractions, and mall features. For those with mobility issues, directions can be provided utilizing elevator routes by toggling the elevator icon. Content on the directory screen can also be adjusted to a lower height by toggling the wheelchair icon.
Parking
Handicap parking spaces are located at each entrance and level of the mall. Parking lots 48, 50, and 58 have the most handicap parking spots available. All entrances at WEM have ramps and push to open activation switches.
Expecting Mothers and Family parking stalls are located at most entrances at WEM. Parking lots 21, 23, 25, 28, 31, 33 34, 44, and 55 have the most Expected Mothers and Family parking stalls.
Oversized vehicle parking is located at Entrance 34 which is nearest to the Misericordia Hospital on the southeast corner of the building.
The Dedicated Accessible Transit Service (DATS) bus stops at West Edmonton Mall are located at entrances 8, 32, 48, 50, 52, and 58.

Wheelchairs + Electric Carts Rental
Wheelchairs and Scooters are available for rent at WEM main Guest Services (located near Galaxyland powered by Hasbro main entrance). Scooters require a refundable $250 deposit. Wheelchairs require a $50 deposit upon rental of equipment. All equipment must be returned before Mall closing time. All equipment not returned or returned damaged will be assessed to the full value on the guest’s credit card. A valid piece of government issue ID is required upon rental. Wheelchairs and electric carts are available on a first come, first served basis due to our limited quantities.

Elevators
Elevators are located near entrances 2, 8, 32, 40, 50, 52, 56, and 58. To view the full map of the mall click here. Escalators are located throughout the main corridor in WEM.
Restroom Information
All restrooms have wheelchair-accessible stalls.
Level 1 restrooms are located near entrances 48, phase 1 food court (entrance 14), in Galaxyland Powered by Hasbro (near entrance 8), phase 3 food court (beside NEWPLAY) and in the Fantasyland Hotel level 1 lobby (next to the stairs).
Level 2 restrooms are located near entrance 23 and 45.
Service Animals
WEM recognizes the importance of service animals. Service animals are permitted within all general areas of the mall. Only animals trained to assist persons with disabilities are permitted within West Edmonton Mall. Service animals within attractions are dependent on the attraction type.
