For 35 years West Edmonton Mall has been proud to partner with many organizations and causes in our community. From providing venue spaces to charitable events at no cost, to welcoming dozens of Make-A-Wish families every year, we’re grateful to have been able to support these organizations and families.
Non-Profit & Fundraising Events
West Edmonton Mall hosts more than 50 events annually for non-profit organizations with the goal of helping them raise awareness and funds for their work.

At West Edmonton Mall, we are doing everything we can to lessen our impact on the environment. We have undertaken a number of green initiatives over the years to decrease our environmental footprint.
WEM’s recycling efforts involve all departments and a large number of products including used hydraulic oil and varsol, paint, small batteries, small electronics, pallets, toner cartridges, large electronics, metals, fluorescent and compact fluorescent lamps, ballasts, and large batteries. Tenants are also encouraged to recycle paper and cardboard. Each Dock site (where orders come in and garbage is taken out) has specific areas set aside for paper and cardboard.
