Wi-Fi Internet access is now freely available throughout West Edmonton Mall, Fantasyland Hotel and West Edmonton Mall Inn.
- Take note of original computer configuration settings prior to changing them.
- Select the SSID “WEMISPHERE” in your Wi-Fi settings.
Note: That on some devices the WEMISPHERE network name will only appear if the “Preferred Network” option is not selected in the connections properties. If you have trouble connecting, disable and then re-enable the Wi-Fi Services on your device. Once you have satisfied all these prerequisites, you should be redirected to our captive portal. If this doesn’t happen, open your Internet browser and type any normal web address in to the address bar and you will be taken directly to the WEMiSphere™ portal. Only connect to WEMiSphereTM once you have familiarized yourself with the Policy and Disclaimer documents and have Accepted them.
Your smartphone, tablet, or mobile or computing device requires a Wi-Fi wireless network adapter that supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. WEMiSphere™ is powered by Cisco SystemsTM hardware and supports all popular mobile devices running operating systems for products such as Apple, Android, and Windows.
WEMiSphereTM service is designed to be as hassle-free as possible for use in public spaces. As such Internet services are set up with some website content filtering based on reputation. You should always have up-to-date anti-virus and anti-malware software installed on any computer connected to a network or the Internet.
