Dwarfing it’s now demised predecessor, the new modern design of the Walterdale Bridge spans the North Saskatchewan River to connect South and Central Edmonton. Named after John Walter, a settler whose ferry operation allowed people to cross the river over a century ago, the iconic structure serves to reinvent the Edmonton skyline, proving some things are worth the wait.
